Nintendo DS Carrying Case Reviews
In this review we looked at the 4 most popular Nintendo DS carrying cases. Same as GBA SP the new Nintendo DS has a pretty rugged design and is tolerant to all kinds of hazards, but as with all electronic equipment id doesn't like being dropped :) And scratches on its surface make it less attractive - that is why we need one of these cases to protect our consoles when we carry it around.
As all of the cases/bags have about the same size and shock absorbing qualities (so protect your Nintendo DS from being damaged in a fall). In our review we gave extra points to the cases that had had place for storing Gameboy Advance / GBA SP cartridges, NDS Game Cards and extra Stylus. It is just so much easier if all of your DS stuff is stored in one place.

If you carry your NDS around in a backpack or pocket without any case or bag to protect it the paint will eventually wear of. The silver look is in fact painted over white plastic of the DS. Same with the other colors. Also the weakest part in the GAMEOY ADVANCE SP was the connection between the console an the screen - if the SP fell it sometimes lost the lighting for the screen or in the worst case the connection to the screen got cur of and you could hear the sound but no picture. I suspect that similar problems could happen with NDS so better protect it when you can as warranty will not cover damages that are caused by the console falling.
