 Troubleshooting
XROM USB Cable and Card
In this section I will give solutions to fix your GBA XROM Flash
Linker and X-rom Game Roms card if you are having problems with
it.
1. Make sure 100% that you Xrom drivers are
installed properly.
2. Make sure that the GBA
Little Writer for XROM is installed
correctly and you are using the latest version. If you have a old
version uninstall it FIRST before you install the new version of
the Litle Writer software.
3. If you get the software to lock up or freeze DON'T click on
the close or click the X on the Little Writer software simply unplug
the XROM USB cable from the PC and wait. This will then force LittleWriter
to go into simulate mode allowing you to NOW safely close the software
without locking up your PC or the Little Writer software.
4. If the Little Writer software is not detecting your Xrom
Linker then remove the USB cable from your PC wait until
you can safely close the software and repeat the process.
If software locks up turn off / close your GBA then remove USB
cable from PC and click on "Stop" on the Little Writer
xrom software and wait for the software to unfreeze it self. Then
safely close the software and repeat the process again.
